Made by Starfish Project. The Starfish Project was established in 2006 to empower exploited women in Asia. The Project developed a socially responsible jewellery business in order to provide women with alternative employment and a range of holistic care opportunities. Over the years they have grown to be able to support 35 women in 2 different cities. 

Since every purchase made helps empower and equip women, we wanted to share with you a more tangible idea of what your purchase provides:

• $10 Provides food for 3 women for a day
• $15 Provides a birthday gift for a woman who, until coming to Starfish, never had her birthday celebrated
• $25 Provides housing for 9 women for a day in our women’s shelter
• $50 Provides team and personal development activities for a month
• $75 Provides the monthly school tuition for a child of a previously exploited woman
• $100 Provides a complete medical examination for 1 woman
• $150 Provides the monthly salary for a part-time counselor
• $350 Provides employment to 1 woman for a month
• $1000 Provides the monthly rent for our women’s shelter for women to leave behind their old lives of exploitation and abuse.*
